Our Adapt Herbal Tea blend creates equilibrium within. Adaptogenic herbs, also known as adaptogens, are substances that enhance your ability to resist stress, anxiety, trauma and fatigue. They’re called adaptogens because of their unique ability to “adapt” their function according to your body’s specific needs, bringing balance to both the body and mind.
Adapt Herbal Tea is both flavorful and refreshing. This adaptogen herbal tea has sweet flavors from the Goji and Schisandra Berries balanced by the earthy flavors of the Ashwagandha Root, Eleuthero Root, and Reishi Mushroom. The sweet, peppery flavors of the Holy Basil Leaf and Gotu Kola add a depth of flavor to the tea. The slightly sweet, bitter flavor of the Licorice Root adds a touch of complexity to the tea.
Ashwagandha Root: Ashwagandha contains chemicals that calm the mind, reduce inflammation, lower blood pressure, and balance the immune system.
Eleuthero Root: Eleuthero helps increase energy, reduce fatigue, and boost athletic performance. It increases blood flow to the brain and improves cognitive function. Eleuthero is beneficial to the immune system and speeds up the healing of wounds and can prevent or even improve nerve damage.
Goji Berry: Goji berries are a powerful antioxidant and have adaptogenic properties which help manage the body’s hormonal response to stress, strengthens the immune system and lowers cholesterol.
Gotu Kola: Gotu Kola or Brahmi is an adaptogen with remarkable properties that enhances memory, balances the nervous system, improves digestion and is beneficial for the skin.
Holy Basil Leaf: Holy Basil is an adaptogen with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It can help protect the digestive system from stress-induced ulcers while also being calming for the mind.
Licorice Root: Licorice is an effective adaptogen for use as an antiviral, expectorant, and anti-inflammatory properties that are soothing for gastrointestinal distress.
Reishi Mushroom: Reishi is considered the “king of mushrooms” and is prized for its adaptogenic properties. It is high in vitamin B-12, antioxidants, and the amino acid ergothioneine— all of which lowers the risk of depression. Reishi is loaded with triterpenes and complex sugars helping to reduce “bad cholesterol” which improves heart health and blood pressure. The antioxidant properties of the mushroom may reduce the risk of disease, improve longevity and combat fatigue.
Schisandra Berry: Schisandra Berry stimulates the body’s resistance to physical, environmental and emotional stressors with its adaptogenic properties. The chemicals in Schisandra Berry are also known to improve liver function and boost energy which can improve athletic endurance and coordination.
