Winter is a wonderful time to cultivate space to pause and make time to nurture our body as a whole. One amazing way to honor our health and bring harmony to our body during this season is by making an herbal vegetable broth. An herbal vegetable broth works to warm the body, boost immunity, ease physical tension, balance digestion, and so much more!
Here at Vana Tisanes we have created a special herbal broth recipe infused with our Inflame tisane. This can be sipped by itself, added to soups, curries or any other seasonal dishes. Cook with joy and unwind with the support of of these amazing plant allies.
1 Tbsp ghee or coconut oil (if avoiding oil, sub water)
1 medium onion (with skins // finely chopped)
4 cloves garlic (with skins // finely chopped // or sub garlic-infused olive oil)
4 medium carrots (with skins // finely chopped)
4 stalks celery (finely chopped)
1-2 tsp each sea salt and black pepper (plus more to taste // divided)
9-10 cups filtered water
1 cup chopped sturdy greens (kale, collards, etc.)
1 cup Vana Tisanes Inflame herbal blend
